Because some of the Android apps will not available for Mac OS X in Apple App store. But here is the good news, Apple’s Mac OS X  supports several Android emulators for users that provide simplicity and flexibility in the form of an ‘easy to use’ Android interface.  Here are 3 of the best Android emulators for Mac OS X (Mavericks, Mountain Lion and latest Yosemite supported) that you can use and augment your experience even further.

The Best Android Emulators for Mac OS X

    1. Bluestacks

Bluestack was going to be at the top of our list since it is the most common software being used to emulate the Android system on the Mac. Since it is a multi-platform software, it can be projected on to the Windows as well as the Mac operating systems. One advantage that users will get for using the emulator is that it is accompanied by an unencumbered installation process.

After the installation has been completed, the Bluestacks interface possesses an embellished and user-friendly interface. Users should take care about the emulator if they are going to start getting immersed in gaming applications; if you do not have sufficient amounts of memory, then you might experience some level of performance degradation (in gaming). Otherwise, for normal tasks, this emulator will be your best bet.
You can download the application from Blustacks site here.

    2. Genymotion

Genymotion is different compared to the Bluestacks emulator because it allows users a greater depth of control when using it. For starters, Genymotion allows users to change the type of android device as well as the operating system that they are using. In addition, the application also allows users to configure the number of resources such as RAM and hard disk space to be allocated to the Android emulator to make the interface more fluid than before.

That’s not all; Genymotion also supports a direct networking interface through Ethernet or Wi-Fi connectivity. This removes the element of having to make the changes yourself, which ends up becoming into one highly tedious operation. The application also provides support for drag and drop file transfer to the emulated SD Card. To start using the emulator, however, users will be required to register themselves on Genymotion Cloud.

Another popular application to add to your Mac OS X arsenal of applications, Youwave possesses near-perfect functionality of what an Android emulator should be like, especially if the user expects an emulator to experience near perfection of the operating system. Youwave uses Oracle VirtualBox binaries to work on your host Mac computer. If you already have VirtualBox app on your Mac computer, you may need to install this app in a different way.

Users can easily immerse themselves in the latest gaming applications and to top it all; they can also connect with their friends in multiplayer modes for a chance to get bragging rights. While using the emulator, users can save their games the same way they save it the regular way.
